Celebrating SAIC's Annual Chicago Public Schools Exhibition

SAIC opened its All-City High School Senior Portfolio exhibition in the LeRoy Neiman Center on January 8. In partnership with Chicago Public Schools (CPS) this annual show features the talent and achievements of more than 200 CPS high school students' artwork.

Weinstein and Endsley Fellowship Award Winners Announced

This series of artist talks given by our second year graduate students takes place during Critique Week and offers an opportunity to gain insight into the individual artistic production of each candidate.

The presentations are part of the application process for the James Weinstein Memorial Fellowship. The fellowship is awarded to one graduating graduate student to support photographic work for Spring 2019 Graduate Thesis Exhibition.

New Series on Art and Design in Chicago Features SAIC Community

A new four-part series titled Art and Design in Chicago premiered on Friday, October 5, on WTTW with the first episode "If You Build It." The series covers a wide range of Chicago artists and designers.

Since 2011, Natasha Egan has served as the executive director of the Museum of Contemporary Photography at Columbia College Chicago (MoCP), where she was previously the associate director and curator since 2000.

Ornella Fieres is a German multimedia artist living in Berlin. Her work deals with the transitions between the analogue and digital space, as well as with the loss and transformation of data and energy in an attempt to capture and transmit moments via recording technologies.
