Nichols Tower also houses seven other community and citywide organizations, a unique structure that helps faculty, artists, students, staff, and participants get to know and collaborate with each other. 

SAIC was invited by community leaders and the Foundation for Homan Square, a local organization that has been working in North Lawndale for nearly 30 years, to be part of a developing collective of nonprofit organizations working to bring resources to the neighborhood. 

The students listed below were nominated by their Sophomore Seminar faculty for the Dean’s List for Outstanding Sophomores, based on superb portfolios, enthusiastic classroom leadership, and above-average critique skills.
