Student Advising and Strengths®

  • CAPX staff and our team of Faculty Career Advisors offer highly personalized advising sessions to help students develop and implement their career and job search strategies.
  • Our advisors can also help you explore your unique strengths via Strengths®, an assessment designed to help you learn about your dominant talents and the ways in which you naturally think, feel, and behave as an individual. CliftonStrengths® are especially useful in forming your job search strategies, managing group projects, and charting your career path.
  • Want to stop by for a quick15-minute check-in to review your résumé or other professional materials? Our drop-in hours are from 12:00 p.m.–1:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, in the CAPX offices on the 14th floor of the Lakeview Building.
  • Learn more about the CAPX Team or make a full, 30-minute appointment on Handshake.
