Week-Long Summer Intensives
Immerse yourself in your creative practice with SAIC's Adult Continuing Education Summer Intensives—one-week courses designed for artists and designers looking to deepen their skills, explore new disciplines, or jumpstart a creative project. Study on SAIC's campus in Chicago's Loop, with limited on-campus housing available for students traveling from out of town.
Two-Weekend Intensives (Winter)
Make the most of the new year with SAIC's Adult Continuing Education January Weekend Intensives—two consecutive weekends of immersive study spanning Friday evening through Sunday. Designed for working adults, these courses let you dive deep into your creative practice without taking time away from your week.

In this course, you will explore different approaches to making books as artworks in their own right, ranging from the practical to the sculptural and from unique objects to editioned multiples.
