Steven Haulenbeek (MDes 2006) was featured by Newcity in their list Design 50: Who Shapes Chicago 2016. Steven is currently the the owner and designer of Steven Haulenbeek Design. He has also been featured by Design Boom and New York Times Style Magazine for Design for his Ice-Cast Bronze series consiting of objects such as vases, bowls, and candleholders of bronze casted in molds carved from ice.
