Summer Classes for Ages 10–13

At the School of the Art Institute of Chicago—one of the nation's premier art and design schools—summer courses give students ages 10–13 the space to explore their creativity, build real skills, and express themselves within a community of like-minded peers.

Led by faculty who maintain active artistic practices of their own, courses balance technical skill-building with conceptual development and creative freedom. Frequent visits to the Art Institute of Chicago bring classroom projects to life with direct access to one of the world's great collections.

Students leave with more than new skills—they leave with new friends, fresh perspectives, and the confidence to think like the creators and innovators of the future.
