Emma R Stine

Bio

Emma Ransome Stine (she/her) received a dual degree in Fine Arts and Italian Studies from the University of New Hampshire (2021). During that time she studied oil painting at the Lorenzo de’ Medici Institute in Florence, and attended a course on the legacy of Totalitarianism in Italy at University of Rome’s Sapienza Institute which spawned an enduring interest in European Expressionism and Dada, and Soviet-era Science Fiction writing. Emma has exhibited internationally, and earned an MFA in the Painting & Drawing Department from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2025) where she is currently a 2025–2026 Teaching Fellow.
