Application Portal Instructions
Your SAIC applicant portal is a one-stop shop for you to check the status of your application and to submit any missing supplemental materials. Please note that it may take 5-7 business days for your portal to reflect submissions.
Step 1: Activate Your Account
In order to access your account, you’ll need to activate your ARTIC account by visiting password.artic.edu. Please note that you will need your SAIC Applicant ID (included in your welcome email from SAIC after you submitted your application) and Date of Birth to complete this process. Your login is automatically assigned, but you will create your own password. Passwords must be alphanumeric and at least 6 characters.
*You will need to complete this step on a desktop web browser, the activation does not work on a mobile/tablet browser.
If you are unsure of your SAIC Applicant ID, please contact SAIC Admissions by email at ugadmiss@saic.edu or call 312.629.6100.
Step 2: View Your Application
Once you have activated your account, visit saic.force.com/SAICAdmissions/s to view the status of your application. If you need help activating your account, contact CRIT, our Technical Support specialists, at 312.345.3535 or crithelpdesk@saic.edu.
Troubleshooting:
I’m clicking the “Activate my Account” button and I’m getting error messages.
Please contact the CRIT Helpdesk at crithelpdesk@saic.edu.
I forgot my username and password to log in.
Visit password.artic.edu and follow the instructions to retrieve your password. If you still need assistance after completing this step, contact the CRIT Helpdesk at crithelpdesk@saic.edu.
Materials I have submitted are showing as not received.
Many materials may not be reflected until 5-7 business days after submission. If it has been more than 7 days and the status has still not updated, please email us at ugadmiss@saic.edu.
My friend got access to the portal but I haven’t yet.
Has it been at least 24 hours since your application was submitted? If so, please contact us at ugadmiss@saic.edu.
