Student Milica Zekic Wins AXA Art Prize 2022

School of the Art Institute of Chicago student Milica Zekic (BFA 2023) was recently announced as the First Prize Winner of the 2022 AXA Art Prize. AXA Art Prize is an annual award given to undergraduate and graduate art students as a way to support and uplift emerging artists. Zekic was selected by a panel of jurors and will receive a $10,000 award. Her winning piece, You and Me, was a part of the 2022 AXA Art Prize Exhibition held at the New York Academy of Art from November 9-16.
