Celebrating the talented SAIC students completing their undergraduate and graduate degrees, these events showcase their innovative work. The 2021 Graduate Exhibition presents new, ambitious work from emerging creatives in our Master of Fine Arts, Master of Design, and Master of Architecture programs. It offers audience members a glimpse into the future of these fields.  

Film, Video, New Media, Animation, and Sound Festival

The Film, Video, New Media, and Animation department at SAIC encourages experimentation with radical form and content. This free festival showcases dynamic, digital work from the department’s graduate and undergraduate class of 2021. It can be viewed at any time during the seven-day run.

FASHION 2021

Over the past year, the fashion industry has been transformed. With issues of sustainability and inclusivity at the forefront, students in SAIC’s Department of Fashion Design are rethinking what we wear. This virtual showcase will exhibit their innovative work. It will spotlight the launch of a new student galleries website and premiere a film produced by the department’s senior cohort.

Undergraduate students in the Visual and Critical Studies department share their thesis work, showcasing their unique investigation into where artistic production and scholarship overlap. 

Culminating Event Panels: Master of Arts in Art Education and Master of Arts in Teaching

These thesis project presentations will be organized into four thematic panels: Exploring Narratives in the Conscious and Subconscious, Thriving Resistances, Museums for the Future, and Who Says You Can’t Make History?

Art History Senior Thesis Symposium
