SAIC Faculty and Alums Named in This Year's Newcity Design 50

Newcity Design recently released their annual Design 50, celebrating "those who give us boundary-pushing work, immersive experiences, and all-around impeccable design in all realms." Out of the creatives profiled, 16 are SAIC alums and faculty members, and Bill Sick Professor of Fashion, Body and Garment Nick Cave and his partner Bob Faust are #2 on the list. As part of this inclusion, their new studio space, Facility, was profiled in the magazine. Located in Chicago's South Old Irving Park neighborhood, Facility functions as a gallery, design studio, and common space, and was designed to give established and emerging artists a place to collaborate.

Congratulations to each of the SAIC community members featured. These individuals are helping to shape the future of design not just in Chicago, but around the world.
