SAIC Community Members Named to Eames Institute’s 2026 Curious 100 List

Numerous individuals affiliated with the School of the Art Institute of Chicago have been recognized on the Eames Institute’s 2026 Curious 100 list, which celebrates creative leaders shaping culture through design, education, and critical inquiry. Honorees include Founding Chair of the Designed Objects Program Helen Maria Nugent, artist and designer Norman Teague (MFA 2016), Board of Governors member Christy MacLear, and Lecturer F. Philip Barash. Alums Ellen Hartwell (MA 2009) and Raja Schaar (MA 2003) are also included. As highlighted by the Eames Institute, the list recognizes individuals whose work reflects curiosity as a driving force for innovation across disciplines and communities.
