Professor Eddie Chambers Named CAA114 Distinguished Scholar

Eddie Chambers, Goldabelle McComb Finn Distinguished Professor in Art History at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), has been named the College Art Association’s (CAA) Distinguished Scholar, and will be recognized at the CAA114 conference, where he will deliver the annual Distinguished Scholar Session. This honor recognizes influential voices in the field, celebrating scholars whose research, teaching, and leadership have shaped contemporary art history. This year’s program will highlight Chambers’s contributions through presentations and dialogue with colleagues and invited speakers. The session will take place on Thursday, February 19, at the Hilton Chicago, with a livestream available on YouTube for remote attendees.
