Assistant Professor, Adj. Karen Azarnia is one of the artists featured in CARE, an exhibition at the Geneva Center for the Arts. She is also curating Lay Of The Land at Dominican University’s O'Connor Art Gallery.

Associate Professor Adam Greteman published On Liking the Other: Queer Subjects and Religious Discourses, a text which studies the intersection of religious and queer discourses in teacher education. 

Professor Diana Guerrero-Maciá is one of six artists being featured in the exhibition High Touch at the John Michael Kohler Art Center. Her work can also be seen in Was/Is/Ought at the Carrie Secrist Gallery.

Associate Professor, Adj. Eric Leonardson was featured on The Phantom Power podcast, which explores the sounds and ideas of artists, technologists, producers, composers, ethnographers, historians, cultural scholars, philosophers, and others working in sound. 

Professor Nicholas Lowe’s 2018 video Sixteen Frames—a moving mirror of the overland trail is being screened at the St. Louis Art Museum. The museum is also featuring Lowe’s work as part of their Art Along the Rivers: A Bicentennial Celebration event.

Associate Professor, Adj. Don Pollack’s new exhibition Postcards from the Edge opened at Newzones Gallery of Contemporary Art in Calgary, Canada.

Lecturer Jessica Tucker is the recipient of an ENVISION Grant, which is given to two Chicago-based new media artists making time-based work in the fields of digital, electronic, computer, internet, virtual reality, and video-game art.

WBEZ featured Raisin, a new exhibition curated by Assistant Professor, Adj. Asha Iman Veal that explores themes from the seminal play A Raisin in the Sun by Lorraine Hansberry.
