Newcity Highlights SAIC Community Members in Design 50

Newcity recently released their 2026 Design 50 list, which highlights individuals throughout Chicago who have shown an exemplary commitment to their respective disciplines across fashion, architecture, graphic design, and more. This year, three School of the Art Institute of Chicago community members made the list: Justin Dougan-Leblanc (MA 2012) for fashion, Michael Savona (MDes 2010) for graphic design, and Philip Nadasdy (MA 2011) for architecture. Many other SAIC community members appears in the Design 50 Hall of Fame, showing the ways the School continues to shape design in Chicago.
