Alum Michelle Sumin Suh Selected as Finalist in Supima Design Competition

Alum Michelle Sumin Suh (BFA 2022) recently became a finalist in the 15th annual Supima Design Competition held during New York Fashion Week. Since the prestigious competition’s launch in 2008, Supima aims to introduce the next generation of fashion designers. Each year, America’s top design schools select one graduating senior as a finalist to compete for a $10,000 cash prize. This year, Michelle Sumin Suh was selected as one of just eight finalists in the competition. According to the Supima website, Suh’s collection, 바다 (Bada) “celebrates everyone that follows their passion, takes risks, endures pain, and perseveres through metamorphosis.”
