Associate Professor, Adj. D. Denenge Duyst-Akemp received a 2022 MAKER grant from the Chicago Artists Coalition and has been awarded an unrestricted grant of $3,000 for her commitment to socially conscious work and working outside of traditional forms. MAKER Grants are funded by Chicago Artists Coalition and OtherPeoplesPixels.

Professor Eduardo Kac was interviewed by Studio International about his current exhibition exploring digital art, From Minitel to NFT. 

Spudnik Press Cooperative interviewed Lecturer Alex Kostiw about artist books, self-publishing, and her art-making practice. 

Assistant Professor, Adj. Asha Iman Veal joined artist Sunil Gupta in conversation at the Museum of Contemporary Photography on April 22. The conversation was part of the exhibition Beautiful Diaspora / You Are Not the Lesser Part, which Veal organized as associate curator at the museum. 

Anne Wilson received a Distinguished Educator Award from the Renwick Alliance. As part of the award, she gave a talk and was included in a symposium at the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, DC.
