Bree Witt Appointed Vice President for Marketing and Communications for the School of the Art Institute of Chicago

CHICAGO—The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), a leader in art and design education, announced the appointment of Bree Witt as the School’s vice president of marketing and communications. Witt will drive all strategies to advance the School’s reputation, enhance recruitment and retention, and support fundraising efforts through storytelling, brand stewardship, and communication. She has served as interim vice president since last September, and she brings 20 years of experience in marketing and communications to her work at the School.

“Bree is a valued member of SAIC’s leadership team,” said SAIC President Jiseon Lee Isbara. “She brings both vision and experience to this role, and I look forward to the continued impact of her work across the entire institution.”

Since joining SAIC in 2014, Witt has been instrumental in advancing the School’s priorities, collaborating with nearly every office and department on a wide range of projects and initiatives. She began her career at agencies including Cramer-Krasselt and Edelman, where she guided brand strategies across sectors such as consumer packaged goods, healthcare, and financial services.

“Serving the School of the Art Institute of Chicago’s mission to educate the next generation of artists, designers, and scholars has been the most rewarding experience of my career,” said Witt. “I’m proud to be part of such an incredible community of faculty, staff, and students, and I look forward to deepening partnerships and telling SAIC’s story in new, dynamic ways as the marketing and communications lead for School.”
