Assistant Professor, Adj. Amy Yoes's (BFA 1984) newest site-specific installation Hot Corners will be on view at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MASS MoCA) through May 2025. Designed to be a space for interactive participation, Hot Corners features five rooms: the Foyer, the Parlor, the Library, the Theatre, and the Drawing Room that each contain an endless amount of creative possibilities. Each room includes mobile furniture created for “a variety of functions including artmaking, socializing, reflection, and performance.”

Known for creating dynamic environments that experiment with light, structure, and entanglement, Yoes blurs the boundaries between physical space and function in her newest exhibit through the use of sculpture, animation, painting, and installation. MASS MoCA is the latest in the list of institutions where Yoes has exhibited her work, which includes the University of Las Vegas Nevada, Maryland Institute College of Art, and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
