Alum Yuge Zhou Featured in Times Square’s Midnight Moment
School of the Art Institute of Chicago alum Yuge Zhou (MFA 2015) is currently showcasing her latest video work, Trampoline Color Exercise, across more than 95 electronic billboards in Times Square, New York City. The work is featured throughout the month of June as part of Midnight Moment, the world’s largest public art presentation, co-presented by Times Square Arts and Artnet. The project uses rhythmic motion and vivid palettes to explore joy, repetition, and collective movement. Zhou’s project was recently profiled by art and design platform Colossal.
