Alum Lindsay Adams' First Solo Exhibition Featured in W Magazine
Recently profiled in W Magazine, artist Lindsay Adams (MFA 2025) continues to find artworld success. Adams has been commissioned to create Weary Blues, a site-specific installation for the forthcoming Obama Presidential Center on Chicago’s South Side, opening in 2026. Before that, she will debut her first institutional solo exhibition Ceremony at Johns Hopkins University’s Bloomberg Center in Washington, D.C., opening October 29, 2025. Curated by Claudia M. Watts, the exhibition brings together paintings, works on paper, and archival materials exploring Black migration, mobility, and artistic lineage.
