WBEZ reporter Nereida Moreno visited campus to cover the 2023 Chicago Public School All-City Senior Portfolio Exhibition, a collaboration between School of the Art Institute of Chicago and the Chicago Public School's (CPS) Department of Arts Education. The WBEZ News segment included an interview with CPS senior Miranda Rose Garcia, whose animation was included in the show.

The annual exhibition at SAIC’s SITE Galleries features artwork from hundreds of CPS high school seniors, representing 35 Chicago public schools, and runs through January 14. Participating seniors are reviewed by college and university admissions representatives. In previous years, participants were awarded more than $3 million in scholarships.
