Reminder: Alumni Google Accounts Closures

In 2021, Google announced significant changes to the services they provide to colleges and universities, and these changes have impacted alum saic.edu accounts. Google will no longer provide unlimited storage for higher educational institutions. Because of this decision by Google, SAIC is no longer able to provide Google services–Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, etc.–to alums and will set storage limits for current students, faculty, and staff.

Starting with the class of 2022, students’ Google accounts will close on June 30 one year after they graduate.

Alums may set up an @alumni.saic.edu email address to forward to a personal email account of their choice. Please visit the Google Accounts page to read about next steps to take.
