You will have the opportunity to discuss your work one-on-one with key faculty members from our graduate departments during individual appointments, learn about our curricula and facilities, and inquire about admissions and financial aid. While not required, you may wish to bring your portfolio for review.

Meet current students and faculty, and view the work of over 350 students pursuing their MFA in studio spaces across campus.
Graduate Portfolio Days provide the opportunity for prospective students to receive immediate feedback on their portfolios, as well as have the opportunity to learn more about the curricula, faculty, and application procedures from a number of colleges.
Prospective students are also invited to attend the 2019 Graduate Open Studio Night.

Tour the School of the Art Institute of Chicago’s Master of Fine Arts; Master of Design in Fashion, Body and Garment; Master of Architecture; Master of Design in Designed Objects; Master of Arts in Visual and Critical Studies; and Post-Baccalaureate students’ studios. See works in progress and finished pieces in the studios plus special curatorial collaborations from 345 current graduate students along the way.

Learn about applying to SAIC’s graduate Master of Fine Arts (MFA), Master of Arts (MA), Master of Design (M.Des), Master of Architecture (M.Arch), Master of Science (MS), and Post-Baccalaureate Certificate programs for fall 2020. Members of the admissions team will be on hand to answer any questions you may have before the December 1st Priority Deadline. Museum tours with current students will be available.
