Visit: Public Guests

The Roger Brown Study Collection will be closed from December 2022 to Fall 2023 as a long-planned renovation project on the first floor is completed. The work includes making the first-floor restroom ADA accessible, workspaces more efficient, and bringing storage spaces up to archival standards to preserve our collections. Construction will be completed by the summer, and we'll be able to welcome the community back into the RBSC before the fall semester begins.

We apologize for not being able to accommodate visits during this time.

While we cannot offer in-person visits, staff will be able to support research requests through database access to our digitized collections. Research inquiries can be made to, and remote research appointments will be available via email.

COVID-19 protocols
All visitors who are not current students, faculty, and staff with a valid ARTICard will need to show proof of vaccination and, if eligible, booster to enter the RBSC. Current SAIC students, faculty, and staff need to scan their ARTICard upon arrival.

For those unable to schedule an appointment, we have launched a full virtual tour of the RBSC!
