Continuing Studies

Adult Programs

In keeping with SAIC’s commitment to safety in the midst of COVID-19, students enrolled in adult Continuing Studies programs must make an appointment to visit the ARTICard office for a new or replacement ARTICard student ID. It only takes a few minutes to take your picture, sign the contract, and print your card. You must present a government-issued photo ID or passport to pick up your ARTICard.

Students enrolled in all online classes do not need an ARTICard. An ARTICard will be issued during any future semester in which the student enrolls in an on-campus class.

If you already have an ARTICard from a previous session, check its expiration date. If your card has expired, bring it to the ARTICard office and exchange it for a new one. The cost to replace a lost ARTICard is $15.

The ARTICard office has the following extended hours to accommodate students during the first week of Continuing Studies sessions. Please remember you must make an appointment to visit the ARTICard office.

Wednesday, September 29 - 8:30am - 6:00pm
Thursday, September 30 - 8:30am - 6:00pm
Saturday, October 2 - 8:30am - 1:30pm
Sunday, October 3 - 9:30am - 2:30pm
Monday, October 4 - 8:30am - 6:00pm
Tuesday, October 5 - 8:30am - 6:00pm

High School Programs

If you are an Early College Program student, you must submit a photo along with the ARTICard contract. You will receive an email with a personalized link to submit your photo. The photo should be a color photo of your head and shoulders against a plain white background (like a passport photo). We cannot accept photos with colored backgrounds or objects in the background. Please do not use photo effects or wear hats or sunglasses in the photo.

The contract contains important information on using your ARTICard and what to do if it is lost or stolen.
