Visit: SAIC Community

The Roger  Brown Study Collection is currently closed for a long-planned renovation project on the first floor. The work includes making the first-floor restroom ADA accessible, workspaces more efficient, and bringing storage spaces up to archival standards to preserve our collections. The construction timeline has shifted as the contractors experienced some unexpected delays. We will provide an update later this summer with more specific details about when we’ll be ready to welcome the community back into the Roger Brown Study Collection.

We have virtual tours, recorded lectures, and videos that can help engage with the collection remotely through Canvas. Additionally, the Roger Brown Study Collection team can visit classes in person or remotely to provide an overview of the Collection. Staff will also be able to support other research and study requests through database access to all digitized collections. We apologize for the inconvenience this closure might cause; thank you for your continued patience as we work toward a new and improved space.

SAIC faculty can access the Roger Brown Study Collection canvas page, which offers resources for remote learning. Lectures, films and videos, readings/bibliographies, and more are available. We will be adding to these pages regularly, so check back often!

We have launched a full virtual tour of the RBSC, allowing individuals to experience the museum remotely!

SAIC faculty and students can access the Roger Brown Study Collection canvas page with resources for remote learning. Resources include lectures, films and videos, readings and bibliographies, links to our digital collections and tutorials on how to use them, and more. We will be adding to these resources regularly, so check back often!
