Sommelier of the Year Awarded to Alum
Art school is where many students develop taste. For Arthur Hon (SAIC 1999–2004), coming to SAIC helped him find more than his taste for art—he also discovered a taste for wine. Food and Wine magazine recently honored Hon as one of eight Sommeliers of the Year in the United States for his work as beverage director at Sepia in the West Loop. In an interview with Crain’s Chicago Business, Hon describes his journey to becoming a wine expert.
