Alum Listed in the New Yorker’s Top Three from the New York Film Festival

Hong Sang-soo (MFA 1989) was listed in the New Yorker’s top three standout films from the New York Film Festival. His film Yourself and Yours, which showed at the festival in October, plays on ideas of romance and identity. The New Yorker elaborates, “Hong’s bitter ironies makes Yourself and Yours a comedy of sorts, but one in which the laughter leaves viewers perched embarrassingly at the glass-walled edge of a trompe-l’oeil abyss.”
