In an interview with a Huffington Post blogger, critically-acclaimed fashion designer and SAIC alum Cynthia Rowley (BFA 1981) spoke about having a vision, establishing the foundations of her career at SAIC, and what it means to be successful in a creative discipline. For Rowley, “the more frontiers that have been broken, the more challenging it is to find new arenas to explore, but being a little scared all the time is always better than being complacent.”
