The New York Times spotlighted artist and Stephanie and Bill Sick Professor of Fashion, Body and Garment Nick Cave following his new installation of mosaics in a New York subway. The installation, entitled Every One, is the first in a series of three works established in the 42nd Street shuttle, a connector between Times Square and Grand Central Station. The other two pieces, Each One and Equal All, will be installed next year at the new shuttle entrance and on the center island platform wall respectively. Every One depicts figures leaping and twirling in colorful mosaic Soundsuits. “It’s almost like looking at a film strip,” Cave shared. “As you’re moving down that from left to right, you see it in motion.” Every One was officially unveiled by M.T.A. Arts & Design on September 10.
