Lou Mallozzi's Work Featured in the Chicago Sound Show

The Chicago Sound Show, a site-specific sound exhibition featuring nine local artists, including Assistant Professor Lou Mallozzi (BFA 1978, Sound) was reviewed in the Chicago Tribune. The show is being hosted at the University of Chicago campus in Hyde Park and features a wide range of locations to exhibit the sound pieces. The show explores thresholds, passageways, and common spaces in this area. The artists chose settings as unalike as a contemplative cloister garden and a heavily-trafficked gateway”, the article says. Mallozzi's piece Close Quarters is on view at the Vera and A.D. Elden Sculpture Garden at the Smart Museum of Art. The Chicago Sound Show is on view through December 29.
