Alum Judith Geichman Awarded Prestigious Grant by the Foundation for Contemporary Arts

School of the Art Institute of Chicago alum Judith Geichman (MFA 1978) was awarded a 2023 Grant to Artists by the Foundation for Contemporary Arts. Geichman is one of 21 recipients of the prize, which awards $45,000 each year to exceptional artists around the globe. The prestigious award is granted after the foundation conducts national outreach, inviting artists and arts professionals to nominate exceptional artists.

Geichman lives and works in Chicago as an abstract artist. Her work has been exhibited in dozens of places, including the Spertus Museum and the Chicago Cultural Center.
