Make Together

All students, faculty, and staff are expected to follow SAIC’s health and safety guidelines, including by getting vaccinated against COVID-19. These protocols are informed by guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH), and public health expert Terri Rebmann, PhD, RN, CIC, FAPIC.

Vaccines are Required

The COVID-19 primary vaccination series are required for all students, faculty, and staff who will be on campus for any period of time.

Masks are Optional in Most Campus Spaces

Individuals may wear masks, though they are no longer required in any on-campus space except at the Wellness Center.

Monitor Your Symptoms

If you are ill, even if you’re vaccinated and/or have mild, cold-like symptoms, stay home.

Report Your Illness

If you show signs or symptoms of illness—even if they are mild, cold-like symptoms and you are fully vaccinated—report your symptoms to SAIC's Case Management Team.
