The Fall Term Is Underway

On September 2, SAIC returned to on-campus teaching and learning with modified in-person classes and fully online classes. The fall semester will go through Thanksgiving Break, then classes will resume for the remainder of the semester online. Read more.

COVID-19 Dashboard

Updated every Tuesday and Thursday, the COVID-19 Dashboard shares the total number of cases on the SAIC campus over the past two weeks, as well as our total number of cases since students were allowed back on campus in August. Read more.

Thanksgiving Guidance

All in-person instruction will conclude by November 24 and will resume online for the remainder of the semester. If you are traveling outside of Chicago for Thanksgiving Break, you are discouraged from returning to campus for the remaining three weeks of the semester. Read more.

Flexible Courses and Campus Access

Every student has the freedom to choose their classes, whether modified in-person or all-online. Students living in the Chicago area taking classes all-online are also free to access SAIC’s world-class facilities and resources. Read more.
