The School of the Art Institute of Chicago's (SAIC) Student Financial Services office strives to attract qualified students from diverse economic backgrounds. We think of financing a student’s costs for private higher education as a partnership among the family, the federal and state governments, and SAIC.

Generally, students must be enrolled at least half-time to receive financial aid including scholarships, grants, loans and work-study in addition to other eligibility requirements per federal, state and institutional regulations/policies.

Use this website to learn about the options available to you. We encourage you to use our financial aid and student accounts knowledge database by clicking on the "Find Answers" box in the upper right hand corner of this webpage.

Please contact us if you have any questions at 312.629.6600 or during office hours Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
