Jerry Saltz Awarded Pulitzer Prize for Criticism

Jerry Saltz (SAIC 1970–75, HON 2008) has been awarded this year’s Pulitzer Prize for Criticism for his article published last April, “My Life as a Failed Artist,” which reflects on his failure at being an artist and how it turned him toward art criticism.

SAIC Students Launch Uniquely Designed Collection at Milan Design Week

The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), a global leader in art and design education, announced the launch of Potluck, a collection of uniquely designed objects created by students studying in the School’s Architecture, Interior Architecture, and Designed Objects (AIADO) department. The collection will be revealed at Spazio Rossana Orlandi during Milan Design Week in Italy, April 17–22.
