Nick Cave, Stephanie and Bill Sick Professor of Fashion, Body and Garment was recently featured in an article in Vogue Living Australia for his work Until, which is on display at Carraigeworks in Sydney through March 3. The work is informed by gun violence, racism, and the current state of political affairs. "These are the times when the world needs art. It needs art to elevate and educate, to expose and to provoke discussion," describes Vogue Living. Five Australian artists also contributed to the piece, placing it in the context of Australia's Indigenous plight.
“We have to keep making and putting work out there that keeps the conversation going,” he says. “I’m trying to seek a way to understand," says Cave to the publication. Read the full piece here.
