Above: REpresenting: The Art of Documenting Art. A new video series.

Through interviews and case studies with SAIC faculty and students, this series of videos addresses fundamental questions about the documentation of art.

Media Center Workshops and Training

The Media Center offers training and authorization workshops that are essential to students seeking media instruction outside of class. Learn the basics of a variety of media production equipment and video editing software. Check out our Canvas page for instructional guides.

Workshop schedules begin after the add/drop dealine and ends the last week of class each semester. You can sign up for a workshop at any Media Center. Summer and winter workshops are by appointment only, you can email us at mcexperts@saic.edu to set one up.

Workshops have a maximum of six students and last anywhere from 15 minutes to three hours, depending on the type. All workshops take place in the MacLean Center, except the Columbus 312b Photo Studio.
