My current monumental works are mixed media pieces fabricated from stainless steel, bronze castings, cast iron and wood. They are reflections of my personal views on societal issues. These pieces address my ongoing concerns about human interactions, both on a natural and on a social level. Where we come from, where we are, and how we blend are a primary interest and concern in my work. Wheels and figural imagery have been brought together to portray prophetic and socially charged issues. There is also a great urge for my figures to become detached from their so-called earth base. |
