In my work, I have used many representational images to symbolize and reflect how I interpret our behaviors. The process that I am involved with, which is foundry casting, plays an important part in communicating my ideas and philosophies. This is through patternmaking, moldmaking, and the birth of the object. The idea of reincarnation is a very important metaphor in the content of my art. The images on the exteriors of my works appear and disappear throughout a maze of surfacing and submerging objects that either blend or contrast with the surrounding emotionally charged background.
