This lecture series invites a diverse community to dive deeply into the subject of how a city is best sustained. Interactive sessions, workshops and installations by leading artists and thinkers—global and local— will focus on Chicago as a site for sustainable urban practices. Refreshments from local green eateries, an expert-guided bus tour of sustainable initiatives and projects throughout Chicago and the ability to make your voice heard through Open Mic, makes this first-time event one not to be missed. Presented in conjunction with the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago’s symposium Massive Change and the City: Global Visionaries Symposium featuring Mayor Richard M.
