Planned Giving

Planned Giving

…A house museum and artists’ study collection that serves as a teaching tool and inspiration to generations of SAIC students and faculty.

…An endowed scholarship fund to provide high school students with the opportunity to take Early College Program classes at SAIC.

…Unrestricted gifts that ensure SAIC maintains a full range of traditional and new resources—from Jacquard looms to laser cutters—so students and faculty can fully realize their ideas.

Planned gifts like these have been integral to the advancement of SAIC for more than 100 years and continue to make a significant impact today. A planned gift can maximize your philanthropic support for SAIC and provide tax advantages to you and your family. Planned gifts allow you to make a gift as part of your estate plan and often take the form of bequests in a will or living trust. Many planned gift options can also provide you with income throughout your lifetime, before transferring the full gift to SAIC.

We aim to develop an understanding of your relationship with SAIC and the experiences that inspire you to support SAIC students through a planned gift. Future generations of students can benefit not only from the generosity of your gift, but also from learning about you and the history behind the legacy that your planned gift will create.

Please inform the Office of Institutional Advancement if you have included SAIC in your estate plans so that we can ensure that your gift is properly designated to carry out your intentions.

For your generous support, we would like to thank you by welcoming you in the 1866 Founder’s Circle, a society which honors those friends and alumni of SAIC who have generously included SAIC in their estate plans.
