Colonialism and the Unconscious:

As part of the current exhibition, Safehouse, artist Beatriz Santiago Muñoz will be in conversation with Patricia Gherovici, Ph.D. Gherovici is a psychoanalyst and analytic supervisor and author. In her publication of the same name, Gherovici, examines the so-called Puerto Rican Syndrome in the contemporary world, its social and cultural implications for the growing Hispanic population in the US and, therefore, for the US as a whole.
