Bio
Sara Fuchs-Hayat is a part-time faculty member at the Art History Department. She received her PhD in the History of Art and Architecture at Brown University in May 2019 and holds an MArch and a Professional BArch from the University of Miami’s School of Architecture. Sara’s research focuses on German architectural culture after World War II. Her forthcoming book, Georg Münter. Architekturtheorie im Sozialistischen Realismus, revolves around early architectural discourse in East Germany. Before coming to SAIC, Sara has enjoyed teaching at the University of Miami, Brown University, the Rhode Island School of Design and the University of Chicago.
