Professor Daniel Eisenberg’s new film, The Unstable Object II, won significant awards at the Marseille International Film Festival (FIDMarseille). Each year, the festival presents 130 films to about 23,500 viewers across Marseille, France. Of the almost 3,000 films submitted annually, only about 50 compete for 13 prizes. The Unstable Object II premiered at FIDMarseille this past July and won the festival’s top prizes: the Georges De Beauregard International Prize and the Grand Prix of the International Competition. Eisenberg’s film explores the relationship between the hand and the machine by observing three factories around the world.
