A Chicago based artist who works as the Director of Civic Engagement coordinating arts programming in North Lawndale at Homan Square and research projects for the Earl and Brenda Shapiro Center for Research and Collaboration Research and Collaboration at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). She earned her M.F.A. from SAIC and B.F.A. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a focus in Printmaking and Women’s Studies. She has taught at SAIC and Harrington College of Design, attended residencies in the U.S. Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, Ragdale Foundation, and Vermont Studios. She has been an artist in residence at Spudnik Press, Chicago Artists Coalition Bolt Program, along with Director of the Chicago Printer’s Guild and worked as an assistant to master printers at Tandem Press. She had shown research-based multimedia installation works at the Hyde Park Art Center, Randy Alexander Gallery, Goldfinch, The Franklin, and Weinberg/ Newton Gallery in Chicago, IL.
Artist and cultural manager graduated from the Universidad de los Andes. I work in the creation and strengthening of art-related strategies which, combined with other disciplines, allow the empowerment and interaction with different communities in Colombia and their specific problematics. I’ve worked and am interested in the potential of curatorial practices, site specific interventions and printed publications as pedagogical devices and change ignitors. I also have experience in the art market.

Artist, arts organizer and researcher working in Chicago IL. Her interdisciplinary practice examines the relationships between the arts, community engagement and research. She has carried out social practice projects, arts based community workshops, and ethnographic research and has worked in youth arts education as well as arts administration. She received a BA in Sociology from The College of Wooster in 2015 and is currently pursuing an MA in arts administration and policy from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Ryn is a member of MINT Collective in Columbus, Ohio and is the current education and programming intern at the Hyde Park Art Center. She has exhibited at City Center Gallery in Columbus, Ohio and Satellite Contemporary in Las Vegas, NV and recently completed a micro residency at PORT Gallery in New Orleans, LA.
