Theodore Darst's (BFA 2011) first solo show is currently on display at Magenta Plains gallery in New York City. The exhibit, titled Cult Trash, is centered around an 11-minute video called The Tourist: This Machine Makes Fascists. According to Blouin Artinfo, "the clip blurs the line between virtual, apocalyptic video gaming and YouTube footage, chronicling real-life Doomsday Preppers who build elaborate bunkers to maintain their survivalist delusion."
