Professor Shawn Decker of the School’s Sound and Art and Technology Studies departments recently sat down for an interview with the The Hop Review about the evolution of his Evanston-based brewery, Sketchbook Brewing Co. From Kickstarter campaign to full-blown neighborhood watering hole, Decker’s brewery has managed to overcome some of the community's initial hesitancy (left over from Evanston’s legacy as one of the last holdouts of the Prohibition) to provide a unique, sustainable craft beer option to local residents.
