Jesse Ball, along with 20 other novelists under 40, has been selected as one of the Best Young American Novelists. The honor, awarded every 10 years by the British literary magazine Granta, comes on the heels of a Guggenheim for Ball, who is a Professor in the Writing department at SAIC.
